Our Story

Long Way Home

Our Love Story

Divider

Both born in Meerut, we grew up in the same neighborhood, walked the same halls at school, and yet our worlds never truly collided — at least, not until we met during college through a mutual friend. We’ve known each other for almost twelve years, but it wasn’t until 2020, amidst the chaos of a world turned upside down by a pandemic, when our connection truly began.

Over the next few years, our bond deepened. With everything shut down and the world in a state of limbo, we found ourselves spending more time together — text messages, video calls, sending countless memes, and sharing long conversations about everything from our dreams to our fears, from funny memories to our deepest insecurities.

Our “situationship”, stretched on. We were never quite together, but were never apart either. There were no grand declarations, no defining moments—just the slow, steady realization that we were falling in love, even if we didn’t want to admit it. It was easier, safer, to keep things undefined.

But the heart has a way of breaking through even the most well-built walls.

The journey had started years ago, and now, here we are — two people who had grown up beside each other, who had been friends for longer than we had been anything else, are now stepping into the future together. The long, winding road that had brought us together had been worth every twist, every turn. We have found our long way home.
